If, for whatever reason, you are not completely satisfied with your product, please contact us within 30 days of purchase for return instructions. Items must be returned in "new" condition with original boxing. Please note that personalized products are NON-REFUNDABLE. Please be sure to verify the accuracy and spelling of names and dates. Just Etchin’ It has an extensive selection of artwork available. Before sending your particular sample, please contact us to see if we have it in stock.

Should you need to e-mail your artwork to us, please ensure that the file is less than 10.0 MB. A fax copy will not work. If in doubt, or your artwork won’t go through on email, you can always mail our artwork to us. Please do not fold, staple or mutilate your artwork as this will affect the outcome of your product.

Artwork MUST be high definition art and done completely in black and white. Any other color WILL NOT work for etching.

WHAT IS SANDBLASTING?

For a simple explanation, sandblasting or glass etching is done by removing or abrading the surface layer of glass. A film is placed over the piece and selected areas are then blasted. This is done by placing the item in a sandblasting cabinet and blasting it with an abrasive grit. The abrasive used is silicon oxide or aluminum oxide, not sand. The results are a frosted area carved (etched) into the glass. The detail from this film procedure produces amazing results. It allows for intricate designs, along with the ability to deep carve glass.

There are many items that can be sandblasted. These include wood, marble, ceramic, metal, and crystal, just to name a few. Glass and crystal are the favorites of many glass etchers. The brilliance of these products produces amazing results time and time again. The difference between glass and crystal is the lead content. Crystal is heavier than glass and refracts light into a colored spectrum.

Each item offered by Just Etchin’ It, will be listed to show what the item is made of; be it glass, crystal or acrylic. Be aware that crystal is much more expensive than glass and acrylic items.
